Shinedown – Releases Emotional Tour Video For Current Hit Single “Daylight”

Multi-platinum, chart-topping band Shinedown have released an emotional tour video for their current hit single “Daylight,” off their latest album Planet Zero. The new visual, created by Sanjay Parikh Media, is dedicated to all the fans worldwide and documents the band’s Planet Zero World Tour, which wrapped its U.S. leg earlier this month with an explosive set at the Aftershock Festival after crisscrossing the country with Jelly Roll and John Harvie in tow. PRESS HERE to watch the powerful video, set to the Amazon Original version of “Daylight.

“We wanted to show the power of the human condition,” shares front man Brent Smith. “As a band, we wanted to express our appreciation and our love of bringing people together. We have said it before, and we will say it again, we only have one boss. It just happens to be everyone in the audience. This is our love letter to the greatest fans in the world.”

Daylight is a meaningful portrait of a vital human connection that reminds us that we are never alone and reflects on the importance of empathy and the relationships in our lives that help get us through to the next day. The poignant anthem, hailed by People magazine as “the most powerful of pop-rock songs created to remind us that we are truly all in this together,” marks Shinedown’s 19th #1 at Active Rock and 18th #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay Chart – both all-time records on these charts“Daylight” has also been streamed over 15 million times collectively across DSPs. The Amazon Original version, first released in September, is a complete re-imagining of the song that changes up the chord progression and tempo, and injects big drums and an aggressive distorted synth guitar tone that balances against the beauty and softness of the verses and chorus.

Shinedown’s acclaimed seventh studio album Planet Zero, produced by the band’s bassist Eric Bass, is out now via Atlantic Records. PRESS HERE to listen. Planet Zero debuted in the Top 5 on the Billboard 200 Chart and the Official UK Albums Chart, and at #1 on six other Billboard charts including Top Album Sales, Rock, Hard Rock, and Alternative Albums Charts. Led by tracks like “Daylight” and title track “Planet Zero,” the album’s searing social commentary boldly confronts the societal forces that perpetuate divisiveness while offering a restorative path forward through empathy and open conversation – ultimately serving as a reminder that it is our human connections that matter the most.

GRAMMY-Award winning rock band Switchfoot released a new acoustic music video for their recent single “California Christmas” off their upcoming holiday LP, this is our Christmas album out November 4th.

Bringing sunny nostalgia to wintertime, the video is warm, jolly, and intimate, featuring the band members in a half circle singing softly to each other. You can even catch a glimpse of flip flops — while lead singer Jon Foreman’s honeyed yet raspy vocals ring with authenticity as he sings about Christmas at home.

Marking the band’s first-ever holiday record, this is our Christmas album finds Switchfoot infusing their signature West Coast sound to a number of holiday classics and five, new original Christmas songs. Cheery, nostalgic and brimming with sunshine, the 11 track collection was inspired by everyone from the Beach Boys to Black Flag, and promises to be the perfect soundtrack for the holiday season with a new California twist.

During the past few Christmas seasons, Foreman found himself looking for a Christmas album that reflected the way he felt, and he realized there wasn’t anything out there. So, he started writing his own — making room for all the emotions felt over the holiday season — the good, the bad and the ugly; traditionheartachebeauty, joy, and painthis is our Christmas album is about embracing Christmas for all that it is. Songs that mourn, songs that celebrate and songs that question. Mark your calendars!

DARK PHANTOM – new single “Courtship Of Death”.

Dark Phantom’s idea began in Kirkuk, Iraq late in 2007. The impression was to reach their dreams in western music, to express the inferior circumstances in the city, and explain it to the universe. But things weren’t able to progress due to the bad situation in Iraq, that led to postponement of forward progress and a period of hibernation, for their safety.

In 2008, the band was able to start up again and started rehearsal despite all the dangers.

In 2009, the band managed to have a birth of their own music, by starting to write the first songs after many months in rehearsal.

In 2011, the band played their first concert in the city of Kirkuk and It was unforeseen. Under the same circumstances (volatile aggression, anti-metal music “laws”, etc.)  a crowd came to see them and news of event rocked the small city.

After a lot of demand from the fans on the band’s Facebook page for a second concert, in 2011 Dark Phantom was ready, but there was another situation that made it impossible. Terror groups and their allies began threatening to close all the of band’s pages on the internet and the band was also warned, again to stop their activities, or else.

And in a short time, they made their 1st original Album “Nation of Dogs”, which in the band’s and their fan’s eye was a complete success.  Now they release their new single titled “Courtship Of Death”  https://darkphantom.bandcamp.com/

ACTOR SINGER/SONGWRITER LUKE EVANS DUETS WITH NICOLE KIDMAN ON NEW SINGLE “SAY SOMETHING”
NEW ALBUM A SONG FOR YOU OUT NOV 4 ON BMG.

Acclaimed Welsh actor, known for his performances in Clash of the Titans, Midway, Beauty and the Beast, The Alienist and more, Luke Evans today reveals another stellar duet – this time with Nicole Kidman on “Say Something”– taken from his stunning new album A Song For You – out November 4th on BMG. Listen to “Say Something” here.

The collaboration with Kidman is an adaptation for a song in which Christina Aguilera and A Great Big World won the 2015 Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance – and came after the pair met during the filming of Hulu mini-series Nine Perfect Strangers in Australia. They spent five months working together, bonding offset, along with Kidman’s husband Keith Urban, in their shared love of music.

Evans recounts; ”When we wrapped the show, we had dinner one night in Nicole and Keith’s house in Sydney. After dinner, Nicole was like: ‘Right, you’re singing, Keith’s gonna play the piano. He’ll play anything, just tell him the song.’ So everybody came around the grand piano in their living room and I sang Adele’s ‘Make You Feel My Love’. I knew that Nicole loved to sing, so she was joining in.”

Luke remembered that night when he was preparing to cover “Say Something.” He felt Kidman would be the perfect duet partner – although, equally, he knew how busy she is. But she responded instantly and enthusiastically to his suggestion.

He continues; “I already had that song in my head, because I knew that it would fit Nicole’s voice very well, that I could blend our voices. So I sent them the track, and Keith was like, ‘genius – I couldn’t have thought of a better track.’” The couple recorded Kidman’s part in Urban’s Nashville studio. “He sent me a little video of her in the booth recording. And she loved every minute of it. She was so grateful that I’d asked her. I was, like, ‘grateful? You have no idea how grateful I am!’ But she’s a lovely woman, and a friend, and very generous with their time. To do something like this was really special.”

A Song For You draws its title from the Donny Hathaway song that’s one of Evans’ lifelong favorites and with which he opens the 14-song selection. They are all delivered in his transcendent tenor, with orchestral backing and additional glorious, full-voiced support on key tracks from the world-famous, 130-year-old Treorchy Male Voice Choir.

The Welshman is in huge demand as an actor, in the UK and internationally. From cinematic thrill-ride to prestige TV drama, classic big-screen animation to small-screen police procedurals, action to comedy to thriller. But give him half a chance and the star of The Hobbit, The Alienist, Fast and Furious 6, Dracula Untold and Beauty and the Beast will do what he’s always loved first and foremost: sing.

“I just feel really lucky as a singer, my first love, to do it again,” Evans concludes, “and to sing these magical songs on an album which I’ll have for the rest of my life. I want everyone else to share that joy, too.”

JEEZY DROPS “PUT THE MINKS DOWN” OFFICIAL VIDEO WITH 42 DUGG

ABOUT JEEZY:

With more than a dozen RIAA gold, platinum, and multi-platinum hits to his credit, JEEZY, the Atlanta pioneer of hip-hop’s dominant trap genre, has amassed over 6.5 billion catalog streams, and over 960 million YouTube channel views.  2020 marked the 15th anniversary of Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101, his seminal RIAA platinum Def Jam label debut LP. It entered the Rap and R&B charts at #1 (#2 on the pop side), and immortalized trap music with the double-platinum #1 hit “Soul Survivor” featuring Akon.

The RIAA platinum TM 102: The Inspiration (2006, with “Go Getta” featuring R. Kelly and “I Luv It”) entered at #1 across the board (pop, R&B and Rap), as did the album that followed, the aptly-titled The Recession (2008), containing the #1 double-platinum hit “Put On” featuring Kanye West.  JEEZY’s next two albums, TM 103: Hustlerz Ambition (2011, with the Top 5 hits “Lose My Mind” featuring Plies; and “Leave You Alone” featuring Ne-Yo) and Seen It All: The Autobiography (2014, with the RIAA gold title tune “Seen It All” featuring Jay-Z) kept up the momentum, both of them again entering the Rap and R&B album charts at #1.

Trap Or Die 3 (Oct. 2016, with “All There” featuring the late Bankroll Fresh) was JEEZY’s third LP to debut at #1 across-the-board on the pop, R&B/hip-hop, and Rap charts.  Guests also included Plies Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, French Montana, Yo Gotti, and Bankroll Fresh.  JEEZY headlined the “Trap Or Die 3 Tour” in March-April 2017.  Pressure (Dec. 2017) featured fellow Def Jam MCs YG and 2 Chainz, as well as Rick Ross, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Puff Daddy, Kodak Black and others.  In February-March 2018, JEEZY headlined “The Cold Summer Tour,” during which he shocked fans around the world by first announcing that his next album (i.e. TM 104) would be his final one in the TM series..

TM 104: The Legend Of The Snowman (August 2019) was in fact the final album chapter in JEEZY’s career-spanning Thug Motivation series. His 13-city TM104 Fall 2019 Tour of the U.S. in November-December sold-out instantly.  The events of 2020 were just about to engulf the planet, leading to the creation of THE RECESSION 2.

While music is JEEZY’s talent, business is his passion. As an entrepreneur, he established Agency 99, his marketing and brand management company. New business ventures include multiple real estate properties, ownership and partnership in Defiance Fuel fitness water, a partnership with American Cut Steakhouse, and his ongoing partnership with global spirits brand Tequila Avion. JEEZY announced in February 2019 that he launched a full service sports management agency called Sports99. In 2020, Def Jam announced that JEEZY would be taking on an Executive role as Senior Advisor to the Chairman on issues related to A&R and artist development. Currently, JEEZY is the host of his own weekly talk show “Worth A Conversation,” on FoxSoul where he connects with thought leaders and career experts on a range of topics. Most recently, JEEZY has formed a new international partnership with NAUD Spirits.

JEEZY‘s social profile includes over 5.1 million Instagram followers, over 1.3 million Twitter followers, over 1.76 million YouTube channel subscribers, and over 6.8 million Facebook likes.
