Lovin’ Life Music Fest Artist Spotlight: The Chainsmokers

Attention Music Lovers! Charlotte’s newest and biggest music festival is almost here and needless to say, the Queen City music community is beyond excited about it. Music fans have been waiting a long time for a big festival to make its way to the heart of Charlotte and finally, the time is near. Lovin’ Life Music Fest will be happening right in Uptown May 3rd – May 5th and promises to be something spectacular.

The festival is bringing a huge variety of artists covering everything from classic rock to hip-hop and everything in between. Lovin’ Life is truly for everyone with 3 days of music across multiple stages with a myriad of top-notch national acts and even local and regional artists.

What better way to kick off the summer concert season than with a little “Summertime Friends” courtesy of The Chainsmokers? The EDM duo defies genres with their unique blend of pop, indie, electronic, and hip-hop. The duo has won numerous awards and accolades over the course of their career including a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording. The two released their latest EP Summertime Friends last October and recently collaborated with Japanese rock star Yoshiki. You can catch them at Lovin’ Life Music Fest on Friday, May 3rd as they headline the Northwood Ravin stage.
