Exclusive Artist Interview: Erik Jensen of Escape The Fate

Shutter 16 Chats with Bassist Erik Jensen about Upcoming Album Out of the Shadows and Headlining Tour 

Although the band’s lineup has changed over the years, Escape The Fate’s vision and commitment to their craft has remained steadfast. With longtime bassist Erik Jensen as an official member and new guitarist Matti Hoffman, ETF is experiencing a rebirth of sorts as a band with the net result being renewed energy and some of their best work to date. 

The band has released powerful, new singles “Low” and “Cheers To Goodbye” in anticipation of their new record and first for the Big Noise label, Out of the Shadows, which drops on September 1st. Working once again with producer and collaborator John Feldmann, the new album is chock full of fists-in-the-air rockers that will cement Escape The Fate as a force to be reckoned with in the world of rock and roll. In support of the record, the band will be heading out for a late summer/early fall tour along with D.R.U.G.S., Point North, Stitched Up Heart, and Garzi. With the band’s reputation for explosive live performances, this a tour you won’t want to miss.
