Forrest Isn’t Dead Chats About Upcoming Album and Tour Kicking Off Tomorrow in Charlotte

Since his official arrival on the music scene in 2019, Atlanta singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Forrest Isn’t Dead has carved out a name for himself. His songs are both introspective and heartfelt with honest lyrics that reflect on his own life and personal experiences. Add in a sound that is part My Chemical Romance and part The Cure with a splash of Gorillaz and you have a recipe for success that is uniquely Forrest Isn’t Dead.

His newest single “Wash Away” is a fantastic tune full of dreamy, electronic beats and a touch of alt-rock angst. A brand-new album The End of Everything is scheduled to be released this September via Madison Records, a solid collection of 12 songs that are evocative and mesmerizing. Forrest Isn’t Dead is a breath of fresh air and with almost 400,000 streams and over 660,000 YouTube views, it’s clear that he is an artist to watch.

Shutter 16 had the chance to chat with Forrest Isn’t Dead to find out all about the new album and tour. Check out our interview in full below.
