Outlaw Pop Artist Unleashes The Musically and Visually Stunning EP God Is Dead
Delving into her own roots of being raised in the deserts of Arizona, DEVORA is reinventing the landscape of the American Wild West both musically and visually. Seamlessly blending the best of alternative country with unstoppable dark and dreamy pop hooks, the talented singer and songwriter is shaping her own musical landscape that she calls Outlaw Pop. Her debut album Outlaw explored her version of the wild west, a dark one indeed with a collection of stories and sounds that draw the listener in. It’s not just listening to music when you put on a DEVORA track, it’s an experience that can transport you to a different time and place, immersing you in her deepest, darkest thoughts. It’s a wild, but absolutely wonderful ride.
The journey continues with her latest EP God Is Dead, a breathtaking vision of a new gothic west with stories of love and loss amidst a backdrop of ghost towns, haunted deserts, and abandoned motels. The music is a twilight vision of synth-wave grooves and danceable rhythms that make you want to get up and move. The EP is not just a personal vision for DEVORA but a statement on her entire generation and the world they are trying to navigate. It’s intense with themes and musical nods to the music of classic western movies that both entrance and delight.
