Is Aries Back? Rumors Swirl After Cryptic ‘Null’ Drops and Mysterious Shipments

After nearly four years of silence since “BELIEVE IN ME, WHO BELIEVES IN YOU” dropped (the sophomore album following his 2019 debut studio album “WELCOME HOME”), Aries might finally be reigniting the spark…and he’s doing it in the most cryptic way possible. Fans have discovered old YouTube accounts allegedly belonging to the rapper with usernames Cabbage and TwizzAndGrizz quietly uploading eerie videos titled “null.” The audio, when decoded, reveals phrases “I’m looking for a cure” and “human error”.

But the rabbit hole doesn’t stop there.

Random fans have received bizarre confirmation emails from Aries’ merch store, Wunderworld. The emails show zero-dollar orders for a “null item” being prepared for shipment, with only 24 hours to confirm their shipping address before it’s “locked in” and the item is sent. No details. No explanation. A day or two passed and one fan actually shared what the item was, a black CD with a faint image of a bull elk with glowing eyes. The CD case holding it is clear and purposefully damaged. Luckily they decided to upload the contents of the CD, too. Boiled down, it’s a poetic meditation on survival, transformation, and identity. Using the metaphor of an elk shedding its antlers, it explores how our fractures don’t break us: they tell our story. It’s about recognizing change as it happens, finding meaning in pain, and realizing that even in breaking, we’re becoming something new. The audio begins being narrated by a mystery character, but as it approaches the end, there’s interference in the sound and it slowly changes to Aries himself reading out loud. You can listen here

Oh. My. God.

As a diehard Aries fan, I am manic with excitement.

It’s been 1288 days since Aries’ last full-length project dropped. If this is the beginning of a new era, it’s already pulling his followers into a chaotic digital scavenger hunt. The pieces are slowly falling into place. The only questions now are when it all comes together, and how much longer will Aries keep us guessing?
