Room for Growth – An Interview with Quinn Sullivan
Growing up with an understanding of what you are passionate about is a gift that many people never experience. Quinn Sullivan on the other hand began recording music at a very early age and has performed on big stages since he was six years old. Quinn in that time has managed to play with heavyweights in the world of blues and rock n’ roll like Buddy Guy, B.B. King, and Carlos Santana. Along the way, he has grown into a musician that at such an early age has developed the credentials and the catalog that sets him apart and showcases his ever-growing skillset in the art of rock n’ roll.
Quinn’s most recent album Wide Awake has seen him not only continue to showcase his amazing talent on the guitar but allowed him to evolve to a natural next step of crafting amazing songs. As a singer-songwriter, Quinn has found a new aspect to the love of music that as he continues down his path will allow him to define his musical career and establish himself as much a name in rock n’ roll as the greats he admires and shares the stage with.
Currently, on tour, Quinn is making his way around the south and will be performing this Thursday, March 9th at the Neighborhood Theatre in Charlotte, NC, and March 21st at The Grey Eagle in Asheville, NC.
Quinn took a few moments to speak with Josh Gooch and share a little about what you can expect from his shows on this tour and his growth as a musician.
