Newport Folk Festival Returns in 2021 with “Folk On”

The Newport folk festival is back in 2021 with a new “FOLK ON” ½ capacity 2 Three Day Festival Dates, July 23rd through July 25th and July 26th through July 28th.

Due to COVID-19 capacity restrictions, Newport Folk will be doing things a little differently this year. The Festival will be extending its dates to present two unique 3-day events of surprise performances, storytelling, and workshops at Fort Adams.

The “FOLK ON” festival is also not announcing the lineup and allowing the artists who are performing to decide if they are going to reveal if they will be performing and when.

“This year, out of respect for our artists, we’re letting them decide whether or not to announce if they’re playing FOLK ON or to keep it a surprise. This is why you haven’t seen our regular lineup announcements, and instead have been seeing artists self-announcing. We created this page to aggregate all the artist announcements.
