Dave Hause releases a deluxe edition of 2021’s Blood Harmony

Philadelphia’s own Dave Hause (pronounced like pause or because, not house or mouse), has put out into the world an expanded digital edition of his remarkable 2021 record Blood Harmony.

Blood Harmony, Hause’s 5th solo record, was bolstered by the lead single “Sandy Sheets.” It was a dose of mid-90s nostalgia and a love letter to summer days we all have experienced that bring us warm smiles and sometimes happy tears. Hause has a unique ability few songwriters possess that allows him to paint of picture of relatable situations and explain them in a way that many can’t find the words to beautifully articulate. He does that for us and music fans are lucky that he shares it with them.

Not to be outdone, the record’s second single “Surfboard” gives us in an almost country music rhythm kind of way a beautiful metaphor for navigating the tough times in life. As a whole, this record which is also co-written with his brother Tim Hause is a brilliant collection of storytelling contemplating life, love, regret, and fatherhood.
