Skratch ‘N Sniff Radio Adds Host Allison Hagendorf & Producer Chris Cantore To Weekly Syndicated Mix Show

Radio’s top rock remix show, Skratch ‘N Sniff, is proud to welcome radio veterans Allison Hagendorf and Chris Cantore to the team. Hagendorf will join on-air host Malcolm Ryker for the 2-hour weekly mix show, currently heard on over 55 stations across both Alternative and Active Rock formats. Southern California alternative radio veteran Chris Cantore will serve as a producer and help expand Skratch ‘N Sniff’s digital media presence online.

Malcolm Ryker, the creative force behind Skratch ‘N Sniff, brings a wealth of experience to the show. As the Creative Services Director at Alt 98.7 in Los Angeles and Senior Creative Director for Rock and Alternative at iHeartMedia, Ryker has been instrumental in shaping the sound of rock radio across the nation. His unique approach to blending genres has made Skratch ‘N Sniff a must-listen for fans of both Alternative and Active Rock.

With a career spanning nearly 25 years, Allison Hagendorf is an accomplished music journalist, television host, live announcer, and member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Nominating Committee. In 2023, she launched The Allison Hagendorf Show, a weekly video podcast featuring interviews with iconic musicians, actors, and personalities, including Keanu Reeves, Sheryl Crow, Mötley Crüe, Tom Morello, Mike Shinoda, and more.

Previously, Allison served as the Global Head of Rock at Spotify and was the Host and Executive Producer of the Spotify Original Series, Rock This with Allison Hagendorf, where her guests included Queen, Miley Cyrus, Foo Fighters, Blink-182, and Machine Gun Kelly.

Chris Cantore is an award-winning morning radio host with over 25 years of multimedia experience that drives revenue and engages audiences. Cantore enjoyed successful stints as the host of “Cantore in the Mornings” at San Diego’s 91X, FM949 and 100.7 KFMB. He has also contributed as a writer for the San Diego Union-Tribune and hosted shows for NBC San Diego and Fox 5. Cantore is the founder of YEW Media, a digital media company creating content focused on action sports, music, craft beer, and events.

Since its debut in 2003 on 91X in San Diego, Skratch ‘N Sniff has taken terrestrial radio by storm. Conceived by on-air host Malcolm Ryker, the program blends some of the biggest songs from Active and Alternative Rock into an unbelievable mix show that fans of both genres are tuning into in droves. The show has grown from a local San Diego radio show into a smash success, with syndication to affiliates throughout the US, including major markets like Tampa, Dallas, Washington DC, and Charlotte. Skratch ‘N Sniff starts with a solid Rock foundation and adds new sounds from across the musical spectrum to create a non-stop continuous party mix that has listeners all across the country eagerly awaiting the next episode.
