Rossdale’s electrifying stage presence—leaping into the crowd, shredding with abandon—turned the performance into a visceral experience. For longtime fans and newcomers alike, Bush’s set was a masterclass in rock revival, reminding everyone that some icons never fade—they just get louder.

Shinedown’s headlining set was nothing short of explosive. Ending the night with a magnanimous performance and even gave us a dip into samples of DeepTracks (from tour that was cancelled due to covid.) The stage design and second stage really give fans an opportunity to see them up close & personal.

As well we were treated to it being the acoustic stage a nice twist to most tours. Not lost on the fans because they were thoroughly engaged and this tour is one of the ones you know you are going to actually connect with the artist even in such a large setting.

With a setlist that included “Devour,” “Cut the Cord,” and their latest anthem “Dance, Kid, Dance,” the band fused high-octane visuals with emotionally resonant lyrics couldn’t help but touch each attendee. Their performance at Lenovo Center was part of the tour’s summer leg, which followed a successful spring run with Beartooth. The band’s new single “Dance, Kid, Dance” has become a rallying cry for fans, and its official video— adds depth to the song’s message of resilience and self-expression. Shinedown ended the night with a magnanimous performance and even gave us a dip into samples of DeepTracks (from tour that was cancelled due to covid.)

The Lenovo Center show was a highlight of the tour, not just for its musical intensity by the band but for its heartfelt mission. Shinedown partnered with Musicians On Call, donating $1 from every ticket sold to bring live music to hospital patients and caregivers.

This philanthropic spirit was echoed in Shinedown Interview: Drummer Barry Kerch talks New Music …, where Kerch discussed the band’s evolving sound and their commitment to making a difference through music. The Raleigh crowd responded in kind, creating an electric atmosphere that was both communal and cathartic.

The symbiotic moment of the music community was the heartfelt dedication to Mastadon’s co-founder and lead guitarist Brent Hinds who died in a motorcycle crash on August 20th. RIP to a legend and someone who shaped rock.
