Tesla takes the Ritz for a spin this Saturday

Tesla takes the Ritz for a spin this Saturday

Bluesy metal quintet TESLA are hitting up the Ritz Raleigh and bringing their unique brand of blue-collar genre-mash with them. Over three decades of bending the heavy metal rules has brought them all over the country, this time with The Cringe and Voices of Extreme, two bands who are surely counting their lucky stars.

TESLA, whose entire career is loosely based off inventor and engineer Nikola Tesla, made a name for themselves as City Kidd back in the mid-eighties, but quickly changed their name to what it is now in the advice of a their manager. A name change didn’t slow down their momentum, proven by the progression of time, as they toured with the likes of David Lee Roth, Def Leppard, and Aerosmith, to name a few. That momentum is still going because the five-piece is warming up for a summer tour with Def Leppard and Styx! What a tour for those eighties die-hards. While the glam metal train crosses America, TESLA is sure to be found in their classic t-shirt/jeans combo, relying solely on their music to entertain the crowds.

You and one lucky person could win tickets to the show this Saturday!

The metal-infused band is finishing up their first summer run of shows, prepping to start a world tour this September. What’s next? Glad you asked! TESLA are testing out their sea legs and jumping on the Monsters of Rock Cruise, slated to sail in February 2018! It looks like there are still a handful of rooms left open, but that won’t be the case for long. Hop on that payment plan and make a deposit to see all of your favorite metal dudes and gals out at sea!

Take advantage of these summer shows, however, to get psyched for what’s to come. Don’t have tickets yet? You’re in luck! You and one lucky person could win tix to the show this Saturday! Find out how to enter below!
