Tech N9ne to Rock The Fillmore

Traveling the States on The Planet Tour

Where are my Strange Music fans at! For those of you who don’t have a clue who or what we are referring too, let me give you the deets! Strange Music is a record label based out of Lee Summit, Missouri. Why should this be important to you? Well, Strange Music is the record label for the out-of-this-world rap artist Tech N9ne! Literally – he created the label in 1999. Since its creation, the label and the artists signed to it have flourished.

The reason all that out of the blue information is important is simple. Tech N9ne will be gracing us with his presence on Saturday, May 26th, at The Fillmore in Charlotte! You can guarantee that fans of all ages, races, and backgrounds will be flocking to the beloved venue to enjoy a night of incredible music.

The PLANET tour kicked off on May 17th in Oklahoma City to a sold out show! The tour itself will feature five acts, opening with King Iso, followed by Joey Cool, Just Juice, Krizz Kaliko, and then the main event, Tech N9ne.

Now, I know what you’re thinking. Why in the world would someone who is into the rock and metal genre want to go to go to a rap show? That’s just it! Tech N9ne is a rap artist, yes, but the way he bends and manipulates the music makes it so much more. Not to mention he has had some very talented rock artists by his side. Both Serj Tankian of System of a Down and Corey Taylor of Slipknot and Stone Sour have been guest vocalists for Tech N9ne. Let’s not forget the tracks he did with The Doors, Cee Lo Green, Wiz Khalifa, and Kendrick Lamar as well.

The Planet is N9ne’s twentieth studio album. released on March 2nd of this year. The album, which is just over an hour in length, peaked on the US Billboard 200 list at number 14, along with peaking at number 1 on the US Independent Albums chart.

The PLANET tour will continue through the South East and across the US before ending at The Fillmore Auditorium in Denver Colorado on June 23rd. Tickets for N9ne’s tour are going extremely fast. Several shows are already sold out so please don’t hesitate on grabbing one or five for you and your friends!
