Rock legends Gov’t Mule will be hitting the Jersey shore this Friday June 28th, The band will be in Asbury Park celebrating the upcoming release of  Bring On The Music – Live at The Capitol Theatre. The guy’s will not only be rocking the historical Stone Pony Summer Stage but also making a special appearance at The Film’s director Danny Clinch’s Transparent Gallery about a block away. 

Gov’t Mule will be meeting fans and signing memorabilia, those who attend will also get a glimpse into the live film before it’s release. 

Bring On The Music – Live at The Capitol Theatre is directed by world renowned music photographer, director and music lover Danny Clinch. Clinch who is known for his work with legendary artist which include Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, Phish and more. 

The show was captured on April 27th & 28th of 2018 during two special nights at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY. The film showcases the band’s jam-packed live spectacle and master musicianship through a cinematic lens that is sure to thrill fans. The deluxe release features more than 5 hours of live music including a full-length concert film, interviews with the band, behind-the-scenes footage, photos shot by Danny Clinch over the years, and more. This is the first time that Gov’t Mule’s updated stage set and production have been filmed, bringing the excitement and spectacle of a Gov’t Mule show directly into the homes of their fans.

The live album will be released this Friday (June 28th) and the film will be released on July 19th, Bring On The Music – Live at The Capitol Theatre will be available in various formats via Provogue / Mascot Label Group. You can check out the trailer for the film below!

If you’re not in New Jersey, don’t worry Gov’t Mule has announced new dates as part of their Summer of ’19 Tour. New dates include stops in Dallas, Austin, Boise and Los Angeles. The tour kicked off on June 21st and features support from openers The Record Company, Nikki Lane, Joanne Shaw Taylor, and Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe on select dates.
