Evanescence & Lindsey Stirling North American Tour

Summertime is known to music lovers as concert season. A time when all the biggest acts strap on their dancing shoes and prepare to bring fun, exciting, once in a lifetime entertainment to the fans. 2018 has seen announcement of some extraordinary tours with great acts teaming up to take on the sweltering blacktop of tour life. Arguably one of the best and most well received of this summer’s tour season is the two time Grammy Award winning rock band Evanescence and internationally acclaimed and Billboard Award winning violinist Lindsey Stirling, a tour presented by Live Nation.

The co-headlining trek will begin on July 6th in Kansas City, MO at The Starlight Theatre and make stops in 31 cities across North America before wrapping up September 8th in Ridgefield, WA at The Sunlight Supply Amphitheater. What makes this co-headlining tour extra special? Well this quite literally may be a once in a lifetime experience as both acts will be accompanied by a complete orchestra. This will give fans an opportunity to see the two acts together like never before and highlight their musicality and incredible ability to wow fans with their beautiful live performances. With Evanescence and Lindsey Stirling being joined by an orchestra, the two will find themselves in setting they’ll thrive in, and being perfectly accented musically by the astounding amphitheater venues across the U.S & Canada.

About The Artists:

Evanescence are no strangers to working with an orchestra. The band, led by vocalist Amy Lee, released their fourth studio album and easily one of their most ambitious records to date titled SYNTHESIS. The album was released in the fall of 2017 via record label (BMG) and found Evanescence working with producers Will Hunt and orchestra arranger and composer David Campbell. SYNTHESIS included two new Evanescence songs, in addition to newly re-imagined renditions of fan favorites, joined by a live orchestra and electronica element like never before. The band spent the end of 2017 on the Synthesis Live tour throughout North America; the show featured a combination of their emotionally powerful live performance and heartfelt songwriting with a powerful live orchestra behind them. The group defied expectations and left audiences in absolute awe. The tour was met with raving reviews both by media and fans alike, so it only makes sense to do it at least one more time but on a larger scale.

Lindsey Stirling may be one of the most fearless performers around. Since the release of her 2012 debut self-titled album, the electric violinist, dancer, and artist became one of the world’s most groundbreaking stars of the 21st century. In 2017 Stirling released her first ever holiday album titled Warmer in the Winter. The album featured both classic and original songs, and it become the #1 new Christmas album of 2017, ahead of some of pop music stars such as Gwen Stefani and Sia. Lindsey also put her dance moves to the test and was the runner-up contestant on ABC’s hit show Dancing with the Stars along with her partner Mark Ballas. Stirling, who is well known as the model for a modern independent recording artist, has a strong bond with her fanbase. She spent her fall touring in support of her Christmas album and now is back and ready to once again try something new on this tour. Lindsey isn’t completely new to an orchestra however, she appeared on the Evanescence SYNTHESIS album for the track “Hi-Lo” and the collaboration between the two were next level.

Why You Should Care:

This co-headlining run is definitely on our can’t miss tour list and for good reason. Both artists bring their A-game every time they step foot on stage, and having both artists perform back to back nightly should deliver a one of a kind energy night after night. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing these two acts together and in a unique way. The good news is the tour starts shortly and tickets are on sale now!
