After calling it a wrap on the successful tour with rapper, NF, the indie-synth duo Nightly announced a North American headlining tour. Lucky for us, opening night was here in Charlotte, NC at the Neighborhood Theatre.
They brought along a fellow Nahsvillian for the ride. If you’ve never heard of indie-pop performer Jake Germany better known as Phangs, listen up…
Cocooned in synthesizers, chunky percussion, and sickly sweet scent of nostalgia, Phangs gives raw-and-gritty woes of yesteryears a new lease on life.

We were introduced to Nightly early last year and jammed to them live while on tour with NF. Each time was a spectacle of smooth vibratos and danceable beats. They interact with the crowd in ways that bring you further into their songs like this night treated to some incredible diversity be-it lyrics, composition, dedicated fans, or overall energy.
The cousins, Jonathan Capeci and Joey Beretta and friends better known as Nightly in the past two years has been seen gaining a lot of traction opening for the likes of The Night Game, The Struts, K.Flay, and NF. Then in the mix they did their own headlining tour while their single “XO,” garnished them over 7 million streams.
The band released a new single “No Call, No Reply” today. The poppy song gives a little bit more depth of the bands writing skills, and round about sound that is cementing in time. Give it a listen!
We’re hoping by this time next year when they come back we’ll have them playing to a sold-out house! Last night they gave us fan faves, “XO” as well as songs off their second and current EP The Sound Of Your Voice (Interscope Records) which is the is the follow up to 2016’s Honest EP and is available now via all digital retailers. The tour will make stops in Dallas, Los Angeles and New York before concluding in their hometown, Nashville, TN.
