On The Road Again with I Prevail

Get ready for “Rage on the Stage” with We Came as Romans, The World Alive and Escape The Fate

Summer has officially ended, and sadly so has our beloved Warped Tour. But just because the traveling music festival has gone back into hibernation doesn’t mean the bands have. I Prevail is taking two or three weeks to quickly catch their breaths after touring through the summer, only to embark on yet another tour, which frankly is going to be the bee’s knees.

The RAGE ON THE STAGE tour kicks off on September 20th in Oklahoma City at The Diamond Ballroom and continues through December with the final show ending in Des Moines, Iowa.

I Prevail was recently in the news for being a part of Warped Tour’s protest against The Westboro Baptist Church at its Kentucky date. Screamer Eric Vanlerberghe made out with I Prevail’s merch guy Dominic Mackie in front of Shirley Phelps-Roper, one of the hate-filled church’s more well know protestors. You can read all about the protest here.

For those of you who don’t know the the metal-core group, you may be familiar with their cover of Taylor Swift’s single “Blank Space,” which they released in 2014 on their EP Heart vs. Mind. The cover has over a whopping thirty six million views on YouTube. With views like this, it’s no surprise that the band’s first full length album Lifelines was nominated for Album of The Year for The Underground Interview Awards. Other popular singles include “Stuck in Your Head,” “Come and Get It,” and “Alone.”

Earlier this year, I Prevail held a contest with the release of their music video “Come and Get It.” Winners Shawn Collins and Morgan Scott both received a signed guitar used in the making on the video, tickets to Warped Tour, and an I Prevail merch bundle. To be entered into the contest, all participants had to do was share their music video on facebook. A total of 73,773 shares come out of the whole process, not only helping the band share their new video, but giving two very lucky fans the gift of a lifetime.

To keep up with the RAGE THE STAGE tour persona, I Prevail is releasing exclusive new merch to keep up with the wrestling theme of the tour flyer including I Prevail trading cards which have the members all sporting belts and neon borders just like the WWE/WWF trading cards back in the 90s, and what would the 90s be without a huge foam fist to hold up in the air.

Check out the tour dates here and make sure you get your tickets in time for your city. This is sure to be a tour that is going to sell out fast as metalcore fans quickly grab the VIPs. The tour will be passing through Charlotte, North Carolina on November 1st at The Neighborhood Theatre. I Prevail’s album Lifelines is available in store at Target, and digitally on Spotify, Google, Play, and iTunes.
