Metallica Announce Second Leg Of North American WorldWired Tour

Here they come!

As rumors swirled after Metallica teased fan’s with an announcement, The San Francisco metal giant’s have officially announced dates for their second round of WorldWired North American tour!!! Just like the first leg of the tour, these are can’t miss shows.

The tour produced by Live Nation will kick off September 2, 2018 in Madison, WI and will find the band on the road into 2019. To add to the excitement from the announcement the band will be returning to select cities for the first time in decades.

Following Metallica’s sold-out 25 date stadium tour last summer, the band will bring their in the round production currently being seen on their European arena tour. The band looks to hit 34 cities that they didn’t hit last year as well as many cities who haven’t seen the metal giant’s in over a decade or so. The second round of the WorldWired Tour will feature some exciting first for the band. Each show on the tour will kick off with The Light It Up Pre-Show Party hosted by comedian Jim Breuer. Alongside Jim will be a DJ to get the energy flowing night after night. Every night before the band hits the stage, the pre-show will feature comedy, fan interaction and cool giveaways for the ultimate fan experience.

The band has announced a new ticket option called “The Wherever I May Roam Black Ticket” which may be perfect for you! The ticket allows fans the option for GA floor access to any show on the 2018/2019 tour. All you have to do is pick your date and notify the band 48 hours before the date and they’ll hook you up!!! If you want in though don’t wait there is only 250 of those black tickets being sold and they’ll run you $598!


Something the band hasn’t changed is every ticket purchased comes with a physical or digital copy of Metallica Hardwired… To Self-Destruct album which was released in 2016. The band is offering several packages as well, they’ll be teaming up with CID Entertainment to offer three different options of experience which include things like early access to the venue, the “Memory Remains” memorabilia experience and even meeting members of Metallica!!! Philanthropic Moves

Metallica will also continue using their music to do good; the band will raise money for their All Within My Hands Foundation, which helps tackle a variety of issues for multiple national, local and Bay Area charities. They include music education programs and local food banks. Through the bands collaboration with Crowdrise they encourage fans to make a donation when purchasing tickets to upcoming shows as a thanks you’ll be entered to win tickets, pre-show party passes and meet and greet passes with one lucky fan who wins will be flown out to the last show of the tour. How can you get tickets?
