LIl Xan brings Xanarchy to Charlotte’s Underground

One of rap’s rising stars performed at Charlotte’s Underground on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2018. Though the venue was less than half full, it didn’t lack for energy. From the opening notes to the final shout of “Xanarchy,” Lil Xan had those in attendance singing along and bouncing to every beat.

Performing as part of the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour, Lil Xan, Steven Cannon, Phem and Eliozie brought engaging and energetic sets to the small AvidXchange Music Factory venue.

Touring in support of his debut album, “Total Xanarchy,” a woman’s voice saying “Xanarchy” became the notorious rap horn for the evening for everyone’s set. It offered a mix of getting the crowd excited for Xan and creating a distraction from the other artists.

Regardless, once Lil Xan hit the stage, all was forgiven. He repeatedly thanked those in attendance for welcoming him for his first North Carolina concert. We’re guessing there will be a bigger turnout the next time around.
