BRONCHO will spend this spring on the road, starting with SXSW in Austin next week and continuing on to the West Coast to headline the Echo in Los Angeles and open two nights at San Diego’s Observatory North Park for Queens of the Stone Age. BRONCHO will continue across the U.S. through April and May, including a headlining date at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg.
NPR recently included BRONCHO‘s effervescent single “Get In My Car” in their annual Austin 100 playlist, saying, “BRONCHO‘s fizzy, quirky pop sound scoots along with maximum playfulness. Set against spare, sometimes minimalist arrangements, the band’s hooks nevertheless wind up magnified by its flair for loose-limbed joy.”

See them on the road in support of Castration Anxiety, due out March 23rd from Dais Records

As they prepare for the release of their debut full-length Castration Anxiety, Chicago-based industrial duo HIDE have announced a U.S. tour in support of it.  The tour will span 5 weeks and begins April 5th in St. Louis, routing the band from the east coast to the west coast and will close out May 9th in the midwest.  Check out the full routing below.
Due out March 23rd on Dais RecordsCastration Anxiety follows HIDE’s highly acclaimed and politically charged Black Flame EP (2017) and is another demonstration of the duo’s unrelenting fury.  Those familiar with HIDE’s provocative live performances will be accustomed to the hypnotic low-end and sinister vocal delivery that is prevalent on Castration Anxiety. As for those who have yet to witness the raw power of the tempestuous duo, you’ll see this Spring.
HIDE have premiered music videos for two of Castration Anxiety’s singles; first, “Wildfire,” which throbs, pulses and delves deep into the idea of the physical world rejecting its inhabitants (watch the video for “Wildfire” here).  The second single, “Fucked (I Found Heaven)” ratchets up the tempo, ripping apart the status quo’s idea of what constitutes a successful and satisfying way of life, throwing it back in their faces in the form of Sher’s addictive rhythms, shattered EBM-styled samples whipped at the end of a leash, held in check by Gabel’s cathartic delivery.  Watch that video here.
See HIDE on the road this Spring and look for a full stream of Castration Anxiety in advance of street date in the coming weeks.  In the meantime, pre-orders are available here.
