Ghost Hold A Revealing Sermon In New York City

Ghost New York City Press Conference

Ghost are a band with no shortage of mystery behind them, so when the band on April 27th put out a call to all their followers, inviting them to a special sermon at New York City’s Irving Plaza on Monday April 30th at 9:00 AM, the rumor mill began.

The event was free and fans were encouraged to dress in their best ghoulish attire. Some fans comments showed thoughts of a special performance, some the album possibly releasing early.

So on Monday morning I made my way to the Big Apple to see what we were in for. The sermon was hosted by Papa Nihil and Sister Imperator and began at 10:00 AM. Hundreds of fans showed up for the event and were eager to see what was the latest in Ghost unpredictable shenanigans.

Papa Nihil and Sister Imperator revealed the premiere of Chapter Three: Back On The Road, Which revealed the murders of all the former Papa’s. The unholy three of Papa Emeritus are shown being embalmed, place in caskets, then in road cases and placed in a truck to be hauled off. The Three Papa’s will be on display throughout the 2018 tour as part of the VIP meet & greets. You can checkout the full video.

The band also revealed some other major news, besides their Rats On The Road Tour. Throughout the month of May, Ghost will embark on their first ever headlining arena shows titled A Pale Tour Named Death. The dates announced are November 16th in Los Angeles, CA at The Forum and December 15th at The Barclay Center in Brooklyn, NY. Those dates go on sale this Friday (May 4th) HERE.

The Nameless Ghouls lead by their new leader Cardinal Copia are scheduled to release their fourth studio album Prequelle on June 1st via Loma Vista Recordings. The album is available for pre-order now.
