Editor-In-Chief’s Playlist: Recent Favs

Happy November! EIC Sheila here, throwin’ a playlist your way. There’s no theme, no endgame, no reason really, for this offbeat playlist I just threw together for you all, aside from it staying true to its title.

It’s what I’ve been listening to lately.

There have been SO many new albums dropping that I’ve adored, and yet, I can’t seem to listen to anything other than records that have been around for a bit. Call me a sucker for nostalgia, but I can’t help it. I mean, if you’ve been around for a bit you KNOW I love me some mid-2000s alt, despite my recent obsession with Julien Baker’s latest.

I’ll end the rambling and leave you with this weird playlist that has no substance whatsoever… But I wouldn’t be mad if you told me what you’ve been listening to lately!

Sheila Walsh graduated from USC Aiken in 2015 with a degree in English. While in school, she won an essay competition for an argumentative essay on why the arts are crucial to the education system. Additionally, she was recruited to play volleyball for USCA and contributed to a weekly journal discussing the life of a student-athlete. She currently resides in Charlotte, NC.
