Breaking Boundaries with Jon Bellion at CMCUA
Jon Bellion w/ Marc E Bassy, Lawrence
Charlotte Metro Credit Union Amphitheatre
The large crowd at Charlotte Metro Credit Union Amphitheatre on June 16, 2019, was primed and ready for Jon Bellion to perform. They were grooving to Lawrence and moving to Marc E. Bassy but Bellion pushed their energy threshold to the limits.
It might have been the cheers and energy from the crowd. It could have been that the majority in attendance were singing along to every word. Either way, Bellion appeared to be having an absolute blast throughout his Charlotte performance.
He was all smiles from the moment he hit the stage and appeared genuinely appreciative of every clap, scream and singalong. The reception from the audience was a complete 180 from earlier in the night.
Lawrence played soulful pop-rock that got the crowd dancing and enjoying the warm June evening.
Marc E. Bassy (featuring Charlotte’s own Shago Elizondo on guitar) needed more time to get responses from the crowd.
But Bellion’s crowd was roaring from the first notes of JT.
Bellion breaks boundaries between electronic music, pop, rock and hip-hop to create a genre of his own that’s won over countless diehard fans.
His U.S. tour rolls across the country into early August before heading to Europe.
