Bon Jovi to bring This House Is Not For Sale to the Carolinas

Get ready Charlotte music lovers, on April 21 Bon Jovi will hit the stage of the Spectrum Center for an explosive night of rock and roll.  This tour will be the bands re-launch of the 2017 This House Is Not For Sale tour with the re-issue of two new songs to the album – “When We Were US” and “Walls”.  The band played Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville last February to nearly 15,000 fans, and joining them to open the concert was last year’s First Round Opening Act contest winner our very own Charlotte rock n’ roll star Michael Tracey.  This year, Michael will grace the stage and open for Bon Jovi again.

It has been an extraordinary year so far for the band.  In March, the album This House Is Not For Sale reached #1 for the second time, with 120,000 units in sales for the first week in March.  Then, later in the month, the band accepted the first ever ICON Award at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards for their contributions to music for over three decades – I know this Jersey girl voted for them!  The band won with over one million fan votes, which to me shows that their music both past and present has stood the test of time with their fans.

In December 2017 it was announced that the band would be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.  On April 14th in Clevland, OH, Jon Bon Jovi walking on the stage to accept the award with the band and two of the original band members guitarist and friend Richie Sambora and bassist Alec John Such for the first time since Sambora left the band back in 2013 and Such leaving the band back in 1994.

They played three songs “You Give Love A Bad Name”, “It’s My Life” and their 2016 song “When We Were Us” and ended with “Livin’ on a Prayer”.  I can only imagine it was an epic moment that Bon Jovi or their fans will never forget.

Be on the look out for a show in your city coming soon.
